Welcome to the University of Rio Grandes International Programs homepage! Our Coordinator of International Programs and Services, Scott Morrissey, is here to provide support and information for both prospective international students and current students. Scott will be working closely with all international students to assist in making cultural and academic transitions as smooth as possible. Please feel free to contact her with any questions you may have about our program. You will find her contact information below.
During your time of study with us, we will make every effort to make your experience at Rio Grande an enriching one by helping you accumulate knowledge from our vast academic programs, awareness of local and national cultures, and friendships that will last a lifetime. Here at Rio Grande we offer high-quality and high-value education to all students, foreign and domestic. We look forward to reviewing your application materials and having you attend our beautiful campus.
Registration
Students new to Rio Grande are strongly encouraged to attend one of the New Student Orientation sessions offered throughout the spring and summer. The dates and how to sign up for a session can be found on the Orientation page
After your initial term of enrollment it is recommended that you participate in the pre-registration process. Data shows that students who register early graduate at a higher rate than those who do not and it also provides an opportunity to get required courses at convenient times.
During this pre-registration period, you are encouraged to use your Student Space account to access the schedule and complete your registration. You may access your account by going to: StudentSpace
Registration for the next term will begin approximately one month before the end of the current term. All students are required to meet with their academic advisor prior to registering. Please check with the administrative assistant in the College/School of your major if you do not have an advisor assigned.
