We are excited to welcome you to the 2021 Region 9 Ohio History Day!

 

The 2021 Region 9 contest date is Saturday, March 6, 2021.This year’s Region 9 Ohio History Day contest will follow a Virtual Format.

All registration is online, using a new website: https://oh-rhcnprc.nhd.org

Registration Opens: November 30, 2020
Registration Ends: February 19, 2021

 

Teachers/Schools must register before your students can register.  If you have any difficulty selecting your school district, please contact me as soon as possible.

After you are registered, you will be able to monitor and verify which of your students have registered.

Students that are part of a group project will register individually.  The student who registers first will receive a project key that the other group members must know to link their registrations to the group project.

The absolute deadline for registration is Friday, February 19,2021.  PAYMENT FOR FEES MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE THE CONTEST DATE. We will not accept fees on the contest date. The registration fee is $10.00.  Checks must be made payable to the Gallia- Vinton ESC and mailed to Gallia-Vinton ESC P. O. Box 178 60 Ridge Ave. Wood Hall Rm.131 Rio Grande, Ohio 45674.

Please Note: Everyone involved in History Day must register online before the deadline. This includes teachers, students, judges, and volunteers. Teachers/Parents sponsoring students: Please complete your own registration as soon as possible.

Websites lock down at 5:00PM Friday, February 26.  Please remind your students that bibliographies and process papers are required and should be included in their websites.

Papers must be received by Friday, February 26.  Papers MUST be attached to an email as a word or PDF document and sent to this email (90_dmoore@galliavintonesc.org).

We will make additional copies and distribute them to judges. Please remind your students that bibliographies are required and should be attached at the end of their papers.  Students entering papers are REQUIRED to be present at the contest.
