Basic theories of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. A nontheoretical approach used in the discussion of the design, construction, and use of fluid power control elements. Provides a practical working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic components and basic circuits used in industrial hydraulics. Prerequisite: MTH 11403 or TEC 11704 or instructor permission. One-hour lecture, two-hour lab. Course fee required.
