The first in a two-part series in studying the use of diagnostic medical sonography as it relates to the vascular system. Protocols for performing Vascular Ultrasound and noninvasive testing examinations will be covered, as well as indications, history, and physical examinations. This course will also cover anatomy of the vascular system, vascular pathology, differential diagnosis, and information regarding fluid hemodynamics. Prerequisite: acceptance into the Cardiovascular DMS program. Three-hour lecture.
