This course provides a knowledge base in basic concepts of pharmacology and drugs relevant to radiography and sonography practices. The administration of diagnostic contrast agents and intravenous medications related to radiologic and diagnostic medical sonography procedures are covered in this course. In addition, this course establishes a knowledge base of the human body systems. Prerequisites: BIO 10104 Principles of Human Anatomy & Physiology I. Three hours lecture. Course fee required.
